About us
The Farmersville High School Band is one of the fastest growing performance organizations in Farmersville ISD, and is an integral part of the school and surrounding community. Not only are students learning to perform on a musical instrument in a variety of different settings, they are also learning the essential skills of teamwork, self-motivation, self-discipline, individual responsibility, leadership, and life skills that prove to be effective in any career, or endeavor.
The Farmer Pride Marching Band is a consistent UIL Area Marching Band qualifier, and is a nine time Area Finalist. The Band advanced to the UIL State Marching Contest in 2015, and again in 2017 where the Band was the Silver Medalist in class 3A.
The Farmersville Symphonic and Concert Bands consistently earn top ratings, with the band earning the Sweepstakes award for the past Eleven years.
